Rostein AS has signed a contract for live fish carrier no. 12 of Skipskompetanse design at Larsnes Mek Verksted.

Rostein AS has contracted a new 3700 m3 live fish carrier at Larsnes Mek Verksted with design from Skipskompetanse. The new live fish carrier will be based on Ro Senja, optimised for fish treatment and de-licing. The vessel is contracted with Rostein by Lovundlaks Sjø, Kvarøy Fiskeoppdrett, Seløy Sjøfarm and Kobbvåglaks in cooperation.
This new contract gives Skipskompetanse a good amount of work, adopting the design for new requirements and equipment installed.

The hull will be built at Marine Projects in Poland like her sister ships and towed to Larsnes Mek Verksted for outfitting. The project will include many norwegian and local companies, providing work for many in the norwegian maritime industry.
