The vessel was designed to work with constructions and maintenance of fixed and floating sea navigation installations along the norwegian coast. She is also equipped for oil pollution recover work. Lindesnes was the first vessel in a new series for Kystvereket, where focus was drawn to create multi-purpose vessels.
The vessel was delivered to her owners on the 11th of January 2010.
